Cosmetic Bonding
Repair chips, cracks and gaps in one visit
We make it easy and convenient to restore your smile with same-day tooth bonding and beautifully crafted resin veneers, all tailored specifically for you. We understand that dental imperfections like cracks, chips, gaps or discolouration can impact your confidence.
It can be hard to tell if a tooth is cracked — cracks are sometimes invisible to the eye and may not show on an X-ray. Treatment depends on the size, location and direction of the crack. We will examine the tooth and talk you through whether bonding, a filling or a crown is the right repair.

FAQ
Tooth bonding questions, answered
What is tooth bonding?
Tooth bonding applies a tooth-coloured composite resin to repair chips, cracks, gaps or discolouration. The resin is shaped directly on the tooth, hardened with a curing light and polished — usually in a single visit with little or no drilling.
How long does tooth bonding last?
Composite bonding typically lasts between five and ten years depending on where it sits in the mouth and your habits. Avoiding nail-biting, ice-chewing and using teeth as tools will extend its life considerably.
Can tooth bonding really be done in one visit?
Yes. Unlike porcelain veneers, which are made in a lab, bonding is sculpted directly onto your tooth in the chair. Most patients walk out with the repair complete the same day.
Is bonding better than porcelain veneers?
They serve different needs. Bonding is faster, cheaper and reversible, ideal for small chips and gaps. Porcelain veneers cost more and take two visits but resist stains better and can last up to 30 years. We will recommend based on your goals and budget.
Does bonded resin stain over time?
Composite resin can pick up stains from coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco more readily than porcelain. Regular hygiene visits and moderating those habits keep bonded teeth looking fresh, and bonding can be polished or replaced.
